National COSH Conference
The 2006 National COSH Conference will take place in Boston from November 1st through 3rd at the Braintree Hotel. The conference is intended for staff and board members of local COSH organizations. It will begin with lunch and registration at 12:00 noon on Wednesday Nov. 3. The official conference will conclude at the end of the day on Friday November 3rd and will be followed by:
On Saturday November 4th, we will hold a special Health and Safety Summit, at the office of Masscosh, in the building of the Vietnamese American Community Center, 42 Charles St. in Dorchester, MA., to which are invited all interested workplace safety and health activists including union members, family support groups, injured worker groups, academics, and environmental activists. The purpose of the Summit will be to develop a collective national platform for actions to improve worker health and safety. The Summit will begin at 1:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm, to be followed by a reception until 9:00. (For directions to the Masscosh office, click here.)

2005 National COSH Awards
Each year at the annual COSH Conference, awards are presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to worker health and safety and to the COSH movement. Awardees in 2005 included:
